The electrical section carries out any electrical installation on newly constructed ships, like cable trays installation, cutting, laying & connecting of all cables and connectors, installation and connection of all various circuits, switchboards, lightening & navigation systems, electronic parts, instrumentation & machinery essential for powering all the vessel equipment.
Electrical works shop is also involved in ship repair and conversion such as overhauling and repairing of electric equipment, repair, and fabrication of main, emergency & distribution switchboards, panels, carrying out insulation, resistance tests, etc.
