Overview

Facility description

Baku Shipyard's quay and pier infrastructure supports shipbuilding, ship repair, afloat works, logistics, commissioning and marine project activities.

A combination of long quay lines, finger pier access, west and east quay positions gives the yard flexibility for multiple vessels, service streams and operational scopes.

With an average water depth of 7m and quay side positions arranged for safe vessel access, the waterfront supports planned berthing, alongside works, load-out operations and harbor support.

The pier is also capable of supporting bollard pull tests up to 250t, giving the facility an important role in vessel trials and operational readiness checks.
