Baku Shipyard LLC is a shipyard plant in Azerbaijan. It is a joint venture between State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic, Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) and Keppel Offshore & Marine Company.
Baku Shipyard (BSY) was founded on 10 May 2011 and has developed into one of the most established yards of the Caspian Sea.
President of Azerbaijan Ilahm Aliyev laid the foundation stone for Baku Shipyard on 19 March 2010.
The main focus of the yard is design, engineering & construction of custom, commercial and offshore vessels for both the inland and seagoing markets. Its production capacity is 25 thousand tons of metal constructions per year.
